What Eoin does on BitcoinSpins
- Reads the termsRestricted countries first, then withdrawals, deposit wagering and ID checks.
- Opens the cashierFrom an Irish connection, to see the minimums, fees and limits an Irish visitor gets.
- Looks up the licenceOn the regulator's own website, from the seal in the casino's footer.
- Does the sumsEvery figure in BTC and in euro, and every bonus priced by what it costs to clear.
The process is documented in how we review. He holds his own Bitcoin in a wallet he controls, and the guides take the same approach.
How he reads a casino
I read the withdrawal clauses before I open the bonus page. The bonus is what a casino wants you to see. The withdrawal clause is what it will hold you to.
Eoin Fahy, BitcoinSpinsThis is the same approach through the site. Deposit wagering rules, Bitcoin withdrawal times exist because those are the terms that decide whether money comes back. The bonuses come afterward, in crypto casino bonuses in Ireland, each one priced in euro.
What he will not write
- That a casino holds an Irish licence. None does. Ireland has not opened licensing for online casinos yet.
- A payout time as if it were measured. Times in a review are the casino's own stated times, and are labelled that way.
- Anything on sports betting. The site covers the casino side only.
- A casino that shuts out Ireland. If the terms list Ireland as restricted, there is no review.
- A tip to gamble on credit. Not for buying Bitcoin and not for a deposit.
- Tax advice. The tax page repeats what Revenue has published and stops there.
Following the Irish rules
Ireland is in the process of enacting a new gambling law. The offence that would cover an unlicensed online casino is written in the Act but not yet in force, and casino licences are due in 2027 and 2028.
Eoin keeps a page that follows the Act section by section: is crypto gambling legal in Ireland? When a new section of the Act is enacted, that page changes first and the reviews change afterward.
