HellSpin Review 2026: Bitcoin Limits, Bonus and Licence
By Eoin Fahy · Updated 7 October 2026
HellSpin allows Irish players to deposit in euro and accepts 13 cryptos and Bitcoin. The cashier and welcome ladder are large. Trust is the weak spot. The terms don't name a company and the licence number on their home page is missing from the regulator's own register.

HellSpin review: the short answers
Can Irish players join?
Yes. Ireland is not on the restricted list and the site runs in euro for Irish accounts.
How low can a BTC deposit go?
€20, which is about 0.00026 BTC at €76,568 per BTC. The top limit per Bitcoin deposit is €20,000.
Is the licence real?
We couldn't confirm it. The number on the home page is not in the Curaçao register, and there's no regulator seal.
What is the catch?
Deposit limits do not cover crypto, deposits have to be wagered 3x, and inactive accounts pay €10 a month.
HellSpin in Ireland
On an Irish connection, the HellSpin site is in English and runs in euro. The sign up form fills in Ireland and euro automatically. The terms list 60 restricted countries, the UK, France, the Netherlands and the USA are on it. Ireland is not on the list.
The terms also list Ireland as a country where credit card payments are accepted. Don't get your hopes up. Using a credit card to purchase crypto or casino chips is a fast way to get into debt.
The Irish legal system hasn't caught up to websites like this yet. The Gambling Regulation Act 2024 makes it an offence to offer a casino without an Irish licence, but that section, 67(2), is not in force. Licences for online casinos are due during 2027 and 2028. Until then no casino can hold one.
HellSpin also runs a sportsbook. This review looks at the casino only.
HellSpin Bitcoin deposits and withdrawals
We opened a research account from an Irish connection to access the cashier, as HellSpin doesn't publish a coin list outside it. We selected 'No Bonus' at sign-up and made no deposit.
The cashier showed 22 payment methods. Fourteen were cryptocurrencies, and each had a euro minimum. The cashier automatically calculates the coin value based on the euro amount input.
Deposits via Bitcoin can be from €20 to €20,000, and there is no Lightning option. Litecoin, Dogecoin, and Solana have minimums of €5.
According to the terms and conditions, HellSpin does not charge a fee. However, you still pay the Bitcoin network fee, which at €20 can be a substantial amount, and Litecoin would be a better choice.
In order to withdraw funds, you first must make a deposit. Therefore, the withdrawal page was not accessible. HellSpin's FAQ states that crypto payouts are normally completed within 24 hours. Crypto deposits may take up to 24 hours to process.
Three rules to read before you deposit
- Wager your deposit three times. The terms say each deposit must be bet at least three times in the casino before you can ask for a withdrawal.
- Payout caps. Withdrawals are limited to €4,000 a day, €16,000 a week and €50,000 a month. A large win comes out in stages, unless VIP terms say otherwise.
- Idle accounts pay. After 12 months without a login, HellSpin may take €10 a month until the balance is zero.
How to deposit Bitcoin at HellSpin
- Log in and press Deposit.
- Choose Show all 22 payment methods and pick the Bitcoin tile.
- Open Choose your bonus and pick a bonus or "No bonus". Skip a bonus if you want your money free of the 40x rule.
- Type an amount in euro, at least €20, and confirm.
- Send the exact BTC amount to the address shown, from a wallet on the Bitcoin network.
HellSpin welcome bonus for Irish players
The first four deposits (the welcome package) are worth up to €2,500 and come with 350 free spins, the most spins in our free spins comparison. The first deposit is a 100% match up to €1,000. Each of the four deposits requires a minimum of €20.
The rules are strict. All deposit bonuses have 40x wagering. So do free spins. Only slots count. Table games and live dealer games don't count. The maximum bet you can make with a bonus is €5. Buying bonus features counts towards the 40x.
40x means in money a €100 bonus would require €4,000 in bets. On a slot that returns 96%, the expected cost of those bets is about €160, more than the bonus itself.
One strange thing. On the day we checked, the sign-up form showed smaller offers: "100% up to €400 + 150 Free Spins" and "100% up to €100 + 100 Free Spins". The cashier after sign-up, showed the first deposit bonus of 100% up to €1,000. Look at the cashier's "Choose your bonus" list before you send your money to see what offers are available.
Other offers include a 50% reload up to €200 + 100 spins on Wednesdays, a 100% high roller bonus up to €2,000 from a €300 deposit, and 10 free spins for downloading their mobile app.
HellSpin games
Having 'over 3000' games, mostly slots, from developers including Pragmatic Play, BGaming, NetEnt, Play'n GO, and Nolimit City, HellSpin boasts a large game selection. Their lobby further splits games into tabs like Popular, New, Bonus Buy, Drops & Wins and Fast Games, with the ability to filter by developer.
Two unique features are a real time player counter on each game tile and a small live dealer section with a 100% up to €100 welcome offer.
Certain games are blocked from being played by players in specific locations. Under the terms, a few branded slots and certain NetEnt jackpots follow their own country lists. If a game will not open, that is likely why.
Is HellSpin safe? Licence and company
This is HellSpin's weakest point. The terms, dated 5 August 2024, never name the company that runs the site. The about page only calls HellSpin "a licensed and regulated casino". There is no regulator seal anywhere on the site.
The only additional information is on the bottom of the home page that states, "Hellspin Operations N.V., Scharlooweg 39, Willemstad, Curaçao, under license CGA/CGCB OGL/2024/2419/1067."
We cross referenced this information against the Curaçao Gaming Authority's published licensing register. Last updated 16 September 2026, it lists 606 licensing numbers. Neither OGL/2024/2419/1067 nor Hellspin are listed. The Curaçao Gaming Authority's online portal has been down since a security incident in September, so we were unable to do a live search. The register is on the CGA website.
This doesn't necessarily mean the casino is unlicensed, but it means you cannot check the claim yourself and that carries risk if something goes wrong. The complaints clause says it will forward your concerns to "the licensing regulator listed on the Website," but no regulator is listed. There is no named dispute service either.
HellSpin sign-up and verification
When you sign up you need to provide your email address, phone number, a country, currency, and a password. No code was sent to me via email or SMS. The marketing box is checked, so uncheck it if you do not want promotional emails.
ID verification is done at the time of the first withdrawal. HellSpin requires a passport, ID or driving licence, and a proof of address (utility bill or bank statement). It may also require a selfie with your ID, and/or call you. Payments must be from an account in your name only.
The terms state there can be only one account per person and that a second account will result in all payments being forfeited.
Safer gambling tools at HellSpin
Limit and self-exclusion are also available. You must reach out to live chat, which is 24/7, to set them. The deposit limit carries a note "Except the cryptocurrency."
So for a Bitcoin player, the main restriction doesn't really apply, and for a hard restriction, self-exclusion is the only option.
HellSpin lists no Irish help services. GamblingCare runs a free helpline on 1800 936 725, and Extern Problem Gambling is on 089 241 5401.
HellSpin review verdict
What works
- Open to Irish players, in euro
- 14 crypto options, Bitcoin from €20
- Crypto payouts stated at under 24 hours
- Large slot library with live player counts
- No casino fee on deposits or withdrawals
What to watch
- Licence number not in the Curaçao register
- Terms name no operator and no dispute service
- Deposit limits do not cover crypto
- Deposits wagered 3x before withdrawal
- 40x bonus wagering, €4,000 daily payout cap
Although HellSpin's slot lobby is busy and their cashier is equipped to accept Bitcoin, we have big concerns with everything else. For example, they have no company in their terms, and the licence number is not in the register of the regulator. And the limit tools skip crypto. Play small, skip the bonus unless you like long wagering, and cash out often. Our score is 6.4 out of 10. Other casinos with a confirmed licence can be found in our Bitcoin casinos in Ireland.
HellSpin review FAQ
Can I play at HellSpin from Ireland?
Yes, Ireland is not on the restricted list in the terms and the sign-up form picks Ireland and euro by default. However, HellSpin does not hold an Irish licence. Ireland does not license online casinos yet.
What is the minimum Bitcoin deposit at HellSpin?
€20, or about 0.00026 BTC. The cashier shows a range of €20 to €20,000 for Bitcoin. Lower limits can be found for Litecoin, Dogecoin, Solana and USDT, which can be on Tron or Solana, at €5.
How fast are HellSpin Bitcoin withdrawals?
HellSpin's FAQ says that cryptocurrency withdrawals typically take less than 24 hours. Your first withdrawal, however, will take longer because of ID checks, and the terms and conditions cap payouts at €4,000 in a day, €16,000 in a week, and €50,000 in a month.
Is HellSpin licensed?
The home page names Hellspin Operations N.V. and Curaçao licence OGL/2024/2419/1067. We could not locate that number or that company in the Curaçao Gaming Authority's published register of 16 September 2026 and the terms and conditions do not name an operator.
What is the HellSpin welcome bonus?
Four deposit bonuses worth up to €2,500 plus 350 free spins in total. Each needs a €20 deposit, each bonus carries a 40x wagering requirement and the maximum bet while a bonus is active is €5.
Do I pay tax on HellSpin winnings in Ireland?
The winnings themselves are not taxable, but if you sell or trade the crypto for profits later, the gains may be subject to Capital Gains Tax at 33% after the first €1,270 of gains each year.
