USDT Casinos Ireland 2026: Tether Networks and MiCA Rules

Eoin Fahy, BitcoinSpins editor By Eoin Fahy · Updated 7 October 2026

Every one of the ten casinos we cover accepts Tether, the dollar coin known as USDT. The difference is in the networks, the minimums and the fees. There is also an Irish catch: since the EU's MiCA rules took hold, regulated exchanges here no longer sell Tether. Eight of the ten take USD Coin as well.

Of the ten casinos, Cloudbet is the only one to publicly disclose Tether network fees. Its public table lists seven networks: Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Avalanche, Solana, Polygon, TRON and TON. Deposits are free on all of them.

The withdrawal fees are not what most players expect. TRON, usually thought of as the cheap route, costs 3.51 USDT here. Polygon, BNB Smart Chain, Avalanche and TON each cost under one cent. The smallest withdrawal is 1 USDT on most networks, 5 on TRON and 20 on Solana.

All the welcome rewards at Cloudbet are calculated in USDT and are paid in cash, in the coin you play with, so a Tether balance earns Tether.

BC.Game offers deposits and withdrawals in Tether via eight networks: TRON, BNB Smart Chain, Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, TON, Avalanche and Optimism. BC.Game selects TRON by default.

The minimum deposit on the TRON network is 1 USDT. According to the deposit page, transfers of less than 1 USDT will not be credited. A small test payment is cheap. Currency and network have separate selectors, which makes it harder to pick the wrong pair by accident.

Withdrawal fees are not in a public table. You will see the fee at the Preview step.

Shuffle's help centre lists Tether on five different networks: ERC20, BEP20, TRC20, Polygon, and Solana. Tether is the currency that the wallet opens on, so the entire account runs in dollars from the get go.

Shuffle asks you to wager a deposit once. The rule is waived if you withdraw to the same address and same network that you paid from. For a Tether user, that means note which network you used and reuse it.

Their help page is quite blunt. They mention that if you send coins on a chain that they do not support, the coins may not be recoverable.

7Bit creates a wallet for every single currency, and Tether is one of those. Add it with "Add a currency" and your balance, bets, and bonus limits are all in USDT.

Deposits start from 5 USDT on each of the three networks: ERC20, TRC20, and BEP20. The cashier opens on Ethereum, the most expensive network to send on, so change it before you copy the address.

The regular limits at 7Bit apply: payouts capped at €10,000 a week and €40,000 a month, and a deposit wagered three times before withdrawal.

At Roobet, every balance is shown in US dollars. Therefore, a deposit in Tether is face value. The help centre says deposits in Tether and USD Coin require three network confirmations, while deposits in Bitcoin only require one.

The same help pages suggest Etherscan to track Tether transactions, as Roobet uses the Ethereum network. Roobet does not charge a withdrawal fee. You'll be charged a network fee, and the fee varies.

Anything sent with a coin not listed on Roobet's cashier is lost, so check Roobet's network label on the cashier with your wallet's network label before sending.

Betpanda takes Tether on five networks: Ethereum, TRON, BNB Smart Chain, Polygon and Solana. Its rewards lean on the coin as well. Their daily rakeback and Saturday live cashback are both in Tether.

One rule matters for Tether users. You must withdraw in the coin you deposited. Pay in with Tether and you cash out in Tether, so make sure you have a way to sell it first.

Betpanda is also not licensed, and for the same reason, sits sixth.

    • Five Tether networks

Tether is one of eleven coins in the Metaspins cashier, and a Zero Fees promotion covers withdrawals for now. Metaspins does not list Tether networks publicly. The cashier shows them once the coin is selected.

Hourly rakeback and weekly lossback are paid with no wagering, which suits a balance you want to keep steady in dollars.

The lowest Tether entry for HellSpin is €5 for TRON or Solana. For Ethereum, the minimum is €35, seven times higher, for the same coin.

The catch is what happens next. HellSpin runs Irish accounts in euro. You type the deposit amount in euro, and the Tether you send is credited as euro. You are not holding a dollar balance, so the coin is only a way to pay.

USD Coin is not in the cashier. HellSpin's licence number could not be found in the Curaçao register, that's why it is ranked this low.

Vave accepts Tether on four networks: ERC20, Solana, TRC20 and BNB Smart Chain. The network field starts empty, so nothing is set by default. That is the safest way to build a deposit screen.

Bonuses are listed in Tether. Each welcome deposit requires 20 USDT, and in general, bonus terms set a 5 USDT maximum bet.

USD Coin was not in the balance menu. More importantly, Vave shows no gaming licence and names no company on its site.

USDT in Ireland after MiCA: what changed

MiCA is the EU's rulebook for crypto. It classifies a coin like Tether as an e-money token and the company behind it needs EU authorisation to offer it here. Tether has not been authorised. This is how that played out.

  1. 30 June 2024

    Stablecoin rules begin

MiCA's rules for e-money tokens start to apply across the EU.

  2. December 2024

    First delisting

Coinbase removes Tether for customers in the European Economic Area.

  3. 17 January 2025

    ESMA sets the deadline

The EU markets regulator tells exchanges to stop offering stablecoins that do not comply, by 31 March 2025 at the latest.

  4. March 2025

    Others follow

Binance and Kraken end Tether trading for European users.

  5. 1 July 2026

    Transition ends

Every crypto firm serving Irish customers must hold a MiCA authorisation.

This doesn't prevent a Tether-accepting casino from outside the EU from operating. Nor does it make Tether in your possession illegal. This mainly prevents Tether from being easily accessed from an Irish bank account. USD Coin, which is issued by Circle under a French e-money licence, is the dollar coin that regulated exchanges in the EU sell.

USDT or USDC: which suits an Irish player?

Tether (USDT)

Accepted at all ten casinos, on the most networks. Bonuses at Metaspins and Vave are priced in it.

Not sold by exchanges authorised in the EU, so buying it and selling it takes extra steps.

Suits players who already hold Tether in their own wallet.

USD Coin (USDC)

Accepted at eight of the ten. HellSpin and Vave are the two without it.

Sold on MiCA-authorised exchanges, so the route to and from a euro bank account is direct.

Suits anyone starting from euro in an Irish bank.

Both are pegged to the US dollar, not the euro. Either way you carry the euro-dollar rate while your money is in the coin.

USDT withdrawal fees by network, at Cloudbet

As Cloudbet is the only casino to disclose its fee for each Tether network, this is the only place where the networks can be put side by side. The bars are drawn to scale.

  1. TRON3.51 USDT smallest withdrawal 5 USDT
  2. Solana0.638 USDT smallest withdrawal 20 USDT
  3. Ethereum0.0315 USDT smallest withdrawal 0.1 USDT
  4. Avalanche0.00517 USDT smallest withdrawal 1 USDT
  5. BNB Smart Chain0.00372 USDT smallest withdrawal 1 USDT
  6. Polygon0.00282 USDT smallest withdrawal 1 USDT
  7. TON0.00214 USDT smallest withdrawal 1 USDT

When withdrawing 20 USDT, TRON takes a 17.5% cut and Polygon takes almost nothing. These figures change with network activity and will fluctuate. Nevertheless, the point remains: the network you choose can cost more than the casino does.

For the details on the fees and payout times for each of the ten casinos, see fast withdrawal Bitcoin casinos.

Why hold a casino balance in USDT?

The argument for Tether is that it keeps still. A Bitcoin balance changes while you play and before you settle even a single bet.

Tether mistakes that lose deposits

  • The wrong network. Tether on TRON and Tether on Ethereum are not interchangeable. Send on a network the casino did not show you and the coins may be gone. Shuffle says it cannot guarantee recovery.
  • The default you did not notice. 7Bit opens on Ethereum and BC.Game on TRON. Vave picks nothing. Read the network label every time.
  • Under the minimum. BC.Game does not credit transfers below 1 USDT. Slots Gallery treats deposits below its minimum as lost.
  • Paying from an exchange. Some exchanges send from shared wallets and on one network only. Check which network your exchange will use before you copy the casino's address.
  • No way back to euro. Betpanda makes you withdraw in the coin you deposited. If you cannot sell Tether, do not pay in with it.

A test payment of the casino's minimum costs little on most networks and proves the route before real money follows.

Cashing out USDT winnings in Ireland

  1. Decide the exit firstCheck which coins your exchange accepts before you choose a deposit coin.
  2. Withdraw in a listed coinUSD Coin or Bitcoin, where the casino lets you choose.
  3. Match the networkUse a network both the casino and your exchange support.
  4. Sell to euroOn an exchange authorised under MiCA, then withdraw to your own bank account.
  5. Keep the recordsDates, amounts and transaction IDs, for the bank and for Revenue.

USDT casinos in Ireland: FAQ

Can I use USDT at online casinos from Ireland?

Yes. All the casinos we cover accept Tether, and no casino terms and conditions restricts Ireland. No casino holds an Irish licence; Ireland does not yet license online casinos.

Is it legal to hold USDT in Ireland?

MiCA regulations govern issuers and exchanges of stablecoins in the EU, and can't restrict individual stablecoin holdings. Individuals in the EU can still hold Tether in a personal wallet. Regulated exchanges in the EU no longer offer Tether, however.

Can I buy USDT in Ireland?

Not on a MiCA-authorised exchange. Those platforms no longer provide Tether for European customers. They do sell USD Coin, which eight of these ten casinos accept. See how to buy Bitcoin in Ireland for the exchange side.

Which USDT network is cheapest for casino deposits?

It depends on the casino. At Cloudbet, TON, Polygon, BNB Smart Chain and Avalanche each cost under one cent to withdraw on, and TRON costs 3.51 USDT. At HellSpin, the minimum is €5 on Solana or TRON, and €35 on Ethereum.

Is USDT safe?

It is a private company's token, and it has no deposit guarantee. Tether has said each coin is backed by reserves and has kept its value to around the dollar, with dips. Tether can also freeze coins on a particular address.

How do I convert Tether to euro in Ireland?

Regulated exchanges here no longer take Tether, so plan the exit before a deposit. The easiest way is to play, and then withdraw in a coin your exchange lists, like USD Coin or Bitcoin.

Is USDT taxed in Ireland?

Gambling winnings are tax free. Selling or swapping crypto is a disposal for Capital Gains Tax at 33%, after the first €1,270 of gains each year. A dollar coin has a loss or gain with the euro-dollar exchange rate. Check our tax guide.
